Now we wait...

No!

We breathe.

We pulse.

We regenerate.

Our hearts beat.

Our minds create.

Our souls ingest.

37 seconds, well used, is a lifetime.

So did you see this? When I initially saw the previews, I thought it looked wonderful. But I guess the poor reviews scared me off.

Zach Helm is an amazing writer. He wrote both "Mr. Magorium's" and "Stranger Than Fiction". I had already watched "Stranger" a few dozen times when I decided to snuggle up with my niece & nephew to watch "Magorium" (which I had not realized was written/directed by Helm). They thought it was ok and the toys were cool. I absolutely LOVED it & proceeded to watch it several more times. Madeleine L'engle use to say, "You have to write the book that wants to be written. And if the book will be too difficult for grown-ups, then you write it for children." I think Helm took a subject too difficult for grown-ups and wrote it as a movie for kids. I also think both "Stranger" and "Magorium" have a lot of links to what Donald Miller has been speaking about "Story", and I made that connection here: http://www.jesusmanifesto.com/2008/05/once-upon-a-time/

I own both movies & you are more than welcome to borrow them, or maybe we need to have a watch party!
