just because i'm nice & happen to sound like I'm sixteen, i do not generally appreciate being referred to by any of the following monikers: darlin', sweetie, honey, dear.

unless you're one of the older southern gentlemen who calls here on a regular basis, or my future husband (who hopefully is not one of the older southern gentlemen who calls here on a regular basis), do not refer to me in this manner.

if you are under the age of 60, especially if you are female, these phrases should never enter your vocabulary during our conversation.

oh, and unless you are under the age of 16, please don't call me ma'am. it kinda creeps me out.
