slow and steady... right?!

I have slightly modified my list of 50 books to read this year, and I am already behind. By now I should have finished three of my selections, but I have only just today finished They Like Jesus, But Not the Church. However, when I stepped back to consider that I have simultaneously started reading through five other books on this list in the last few weeks, I decided to give myself a break, figuring it should balance itself out eventually. Here is the up-to-date list for those who are counting. (I know that Tami is pressuring me to get to Velvet Elvis so we can discuss it, and Ines is waiting for me to get to Life Together... neither of those, unfortunately, are in the five I'm juggling!)

I noticed that a lot of your books are about God, or church. I was just wondering why and what are you looking for? I guess I am not up on your quest.
