~ our northern neighbors ~

Once again, I am designating Angela as my surrogate blogger. I suppose frequent appearances would make her Leno to my Carson, though in terms of talent it is definately the reverse. Check out her latest essay published today (...and I thought being an Arkansan was rough!).

if I go out in the morning snow
in my pajamas and my winter coat
and take from the house our darker thoughts
and take away the memory of loss,
and if I drop them into the snow
will we never find them anymore?

She is not an OBU person... we just stalk each other on the internet! (I think we found each other's blogs through Myle's blog... back when he use to post...) :)

i had to shovel my car out of a snowdrift this morning before i could leave. oh! poor me.
hey, kimberly, when is your piece coming out? i'm anxious to read it.

janna - i think i read your blog once a long time ago? did you write something about girls beginning to consider more than just the size of their boyfriend's concordance? if that was you, i loved that line. i think about it often.
