~ pornograffiti for pyros ~

The movie will begin in five moments
The mindless voice announced
All those unseated will await the next show
We filed slowly, languidly into the hall
The auditorium was vast and silent
As we seated and were darkened, the voice continued
The program for this evening is not new
You've seen this entertainment through and through
You've seen your birth your life and death
you might recall all of the rest
Did you have a good world when you died?
Enough to base a movie on?
~ The Doors

i memorized those lyrics in high school, and can't get them out of my head. precious many bible verses i can't seem to commit to memory, but stuff like this is just swimming around in my mind. i was trying to do a basic post on upcoming shows, and those words stepped out front and center. so i felt obliged to include them in this post. (*ASIDE* I found the perfect illustration to tie the quote to the band listing, but it is copyrighted & I can't post it. So please go visit the illustration HERE.)
