~ longview ~

I'm the sort who likes to be productive. So, when we decided not to go the Rainbow Gathering because of the weather and the fact that we suck at being true hippies, I created a long mental list for my bonus day off of work. The day started well enough with me waking to fix pumpkin-spice french toast (topped with my roomie's homemade plum syrup), but it was pretty much downhill from there. Not so much downhill maybe, but unproductive none-the-less. We caught a matinee of Bridge to Terabithia (only 50 cents to cry your eyes out... what a bargain!), I watched Braveheart, and attempted two projects unsuccessfully. I wrote nothing. I posted nothing to the Etsy shop. I cleaned nothing (well, I put the dishes away if that counts). However, I did create a virtual version of me as a starving writer. Thank God I have a real job!

I am rather sad that we didn't end up going. I have nothing of any importance (read excitement) going on here. Now that I am not sick I am bored out of my mind!!

We sleep around here. Okay? We like it. It makes us pretty and keeps us from killing our crazy friends!

First, it's crazy that I remember the scene you quoted.

Second, that coffee cup looks EXACTLY like my favorite cup at Palio (the unofficial patron establishment of straving writers)!
