W.A.S.P.

No, not the 80's band.

I'm going to see these lecturers at the Clinton School of Public Service (if I get my requested tickets). Its all part of my efforts to expose myself to more opinions I may not agree with (I'm joining the table of confederates). Anyone want to go?

Mauro DeLorenzo, resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) in Washington, D.C.
Monday, April 16 at 6:00 p.m.
DeLorenzo, a Rhodes Scholar and one of the brightest conservative thinkers in foreign and defense policy today will present "When Helping Hurts: Ethical and Political Pitfalls of Humanitarianism."

Richard Dawkins, Oxford Professor and bestselling author of The God Delusion and The Selfish Gene
Thursday, April 26 at 6:00 p.m.
Known as “Darwin’s Bulldog,” Dawkins is one of the most influential thinkers in the world today and has become an outspoken proponent of evolution and critic of organized religion.

(Mr. Dawkins, I apologize for calling you a W.A.S.P. ~ I do, of course, realize that you are a W.A.S.H.)

Not Interested? Well, might I suggest these white guys instead...

Wow...I can't believe their letting Richard Dawkins into the state! I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on that lecture in particular. Kudos to you on sitting at the table!

On a side note, Perkins at Reed was disappointing. We'll have to talk about it sometime.
