Sidenote:

...so I was in B&N last night, and I looked up and saw a book with Donald Miller's name on it. Thinking I was out of the loop (again), I picked it up and read the summary. I realized it was Prayer and the Art of Volkswagen Maintenance repackaged as Through the Painted Desert. Perhaps I was not alone in my assessment of the title? I feel sooo much better!

p.s. - I've heard from a couple people now that you are definitely coming to PDX...email me with the details so I can be sure to connect with you.

obviously I didn't click the Amazon link... oops! I didn't realize the whole name change was occuring. I did buy it, so hopefully I can finish it before I get out there and then I can pass it on to you. I'm meeting with my supervisor this morning, so hopefully I will get more details on my trip then.

Kim, I accidently erased the details of your trip here! If you are going to be in PDX on September 22nd, Donald Miller will be reading from and signing Through Painted Deserts! Thought you'd be interested...

If you are going to actually be there Kim ~ I am gonna have to die.

Oh yeah...I can't guarantee this, but since I'm hanging with Tony and all and I know a few people at Multnomah, the chances of us maybe getting to chill with Don at a house or at the Horse Brass afterwards are decent. Just in case you needed incentive ;o)

grrr... no, I won't be in Portland by then (but feel free to pick me up an autographed copy - and have a beer in my honor). I'll email you my plans & I'm posting two posts I wrote on paper this weekend.
