5 1/2 hours

I just waited in line for 5 1/2 hours to cast a one minute vote...

Well that is definately worse than my 2 hours in line to vote on Wednesday... but it was in the rain and I had left my umbrella at home. So I guess we are about even.

I usually prefer election day as well, but I was concerned about the wait on that day. Of course, one lady I was standing in line with pointed out, it will be very funny to watch on Tuesday as people walk right up to the polls with no waiting because everyone else has already voted... Oh well ~ at least I've got it out of the way. Happy voting everyone!

On the news tonight, they reported at 20% of registered voters in Pulaski County have voted already. I hope we have a good turn out tomorrow as well. Isn't this exciting???

3 hrs. 53 min. I don't ever want to wait in line that long again except to:

1. Get a lead role in a Richard Linklater film
2. See the Yankees beat the Red Sox
3. Get a date with Zhang Ziyi
4. Get a hug from Jesus when he returns or calls me home

(not particularly in that order)
